Rebecca first joined the IU Tennis Center team as a part-time student employee in 1997 while earning her B.S. in Applied Health Science ('00) from the IU School of Public Health. She rejoined the IU Tennis Center family in 2005 and now serves as the Director, overseeing all aspects of operation.
Chris Chopra
Director of Tennis, USPTA Master Professional, USTA High Performance Coach
Chris is the Director of Tennis at the IU Tennis Center. He is a certified USPTA Master Professional, USTA High Performance Coach, awarded the 2018 Midwest Professional of the Year, 2006 Indiana Professional of the Year, a USPTA Midwest board member from 2005-2017, and a featured speaker at Midwest educational tennis events.
Adam Struble
Head Tennis Professional - Adult Programs, USPTA Elite Professional
Adam is the IU Tennis Center's Head Tennis Professional, specializing in adult programs. He is an USPTA Elite Professional, meaning he has demonstrated expertise in tennis teaching and management. Adam has also been awarded USPTA Rookie of the Year in 2015.
Akshaya Sabapathy
Tennis Teaching Professional
Akshaya re-joined the team in 2023 as a certified teaching professional with experience at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. He previously served as a student instructor for four years while earning a degree in Public policy from IU (‘22).
